BonkX set out to build a payment app on Solana, anchored in one of the largest meme-coin communities in crypto. The brief: turn a community brand with extreme energy into a payment surface that feels safe enough to use for real money — without losing the joy that brought people there in the first place.
Crypto interfaces tend to fail in one of two directions: either too playful to trust, or too institutional to love. BonkX needed to thread the needle.
We developed the brand identity, the marketing site, the product UI, and the integration into the Solana ecosystem. The visual language carries the community's irreverence, but the interface uses the editorial discipline of a banking app: clear states, confirmed actions, and trust signals that survive a $1,000 transaction as well as a $1 tip.
End-to-end studio work: from naming framework through brand world to live product, with on-chain plumbing built alongside the UX.
