— 01 / Context

The brief.

At moovel, the goal is to integrate technology and urban transportation to change the way we move in cities. We built the new brand to reflect this innovation leader in the Transport & Mobility field — work that won the Industry Excellence in Branding award at the German Design Award 2019.

Almost ten years ago, Daimler AG launched a new era of mobility: car sharing, mobility apps, Mobility-as-a-Service, and On-Demand-Mobility — services that are available worldwide today.

— 02 / Approach

What we did.

moovel wanted to put an end to unnecessary jumping around between various apps, with confusing payment processes, in order to get from A to B over longer distances. One app, one route, one payment process. This is how the world's first mobility app was created — making it possible to search, book, and pay for different mobility offers across cities. The reward was the German Mobility Award.

We created the UI/UX experience of this MaaS powerhouse — so that people get the best transport options for a city, in one app.
